Preschool

Our preschool classrooms are divided into two classrooms. We have a Pre-K3 classroom that includes children that are at least 3 years of age and potty trained. There are 22 children in the classroom and three teachers in Pre-K3. In Pre-K4, we have 17 children and two teachers. 

At Sweet Peas Learning Center, we have carefully chosen our curriculum to facilitate appropriate child development while allowing for individual interests and abilities. We supplement our program by using the child’s background knowledge and by providing age-appropriate experiences to challenge children with new and interesting material. We also utilize the Abeka program to facilitate the learning experience of the children with Bible-based Christian beliefs and teachings, all while providing important early exposure to letters and numbers. Appropriate peer interactions and self-help skills are promoted through monitored periods of free play and outdoor play.

My goal is to have a loving bond with every child who comes through my classroom that they can carry with them throughout their life.”
